The stable version of Muse Hub has now been updated with the latest version of musesampler, so there is technically no longer a need to use the Hub beta when testing MuseScore 4.1. The release candidate has been built in stable mode, which means it will replace any existing version of MuseScore 4 you have on your computer. On the Mac and Windows versions (excluding the Windows Store version), this option enables an auto-updater that will download and install. (It should be ticked by default): If you enable this option, MuseScore will check for updates on every start. Sound can be generated using a large variety of methods, depending on the desired. Please give this a solid test over the coming days so we can be sure there are no unexpected surprises lurking in the shadows. Ensure the box marked 'Check for new version of MuseScore' is ticked. Whats new in MuseScore 4.1.1: This release fixes a number of crashes and introduces some stability improvements. We are targeting a release date of Tuesday or Wednesday next week. The fact that no newer version ever made it into the store suggest that MuseScore 4 won't make it there either.
